I appreciate the opportunity to share the experience I've had as a patient of Dr. Gunnell's. My initial reason for seeing a chiropractor stemmed from a brief test at an employee wellness fair. After further exam it was obvious I was a bigger mess than I realized. I have struggled with a long-term chronic auto-immune disease for several years - of which there is no known cause or cure. Just a loss of control, pain, steroids and other long-term drugs. What an impact on my life!
But after meeting with Dr. Gunnell I learned something that I guess I knew but didn't make the connection sooner. My illness was probably connected somehow to the health of my spine and overall skeletal well-being. It made perfect sense. The first few adjustments from Dr. Gunnell were not so pleasant, resulting in a lot of discomfort, loss of sleep, etc. However, I stuck it out and with the exercises I have noticed a HUGE improvement! My migraines and neck tension are pretty much gone. I am sleeping better and I know that with every adjustment there is a positive effect on my overall health.
I look forward to being able to tell my "specialist" that I don't need the drugs any more...I know that day is coming for me, thanks to Dr. Gunnell and chiropractic health. I have a ways to go and maybe I'll never be "cured" but the quality of my life is already much fuller and I expect it to only continue to improve.

I went to a chiropractor as a child after a sledding accident. My parents couldn’t afford to take me in as often as I needed so I only received chiropractic care sporadically. Basically, I would go as long as I could, dealing with the pain, and then beg to be taken in. It wasn’t until I was an adult and couldn’t stand the pain I was in, did I actually follow Dr. Gunnell’s recommendations and complete a treatment plan. Not only did I receive relief from my chronic pain, a miracle happened. My limited hearing in my right ear was restored. One day, after an adjustment, I felt a shooting pain through the nerves in my ear, then fluid seemed to drain from it, and all of sudden I could hear completely! It was amazing!
I see the full range of benefits from chiropractic care, through my experiences. I am also truly grateful Dr. Gunnell took the time to educate me on what benefits could come from following his treatment plan. I am living a fuller life because of it.

Randy and I wanted you to know that Randy hasn't had a headache since Jeff adjusted him a couple of weeks ago, and he'd been having several before that. We also like the pillows very much. They relieve a lot of neck aches and pains.
