In February we held a Caring Essay Contest for children ages 8-14 in the Treasure Valley. Each person was encouraged to write a one page essay on something they did to show caring and/or respect to someone else, and how it affected their lives. We had over 80 entries! Each essay touched our hearts and reaffirmed our belief that the world is filled with great kids! We were honored to read each essay.

Kids Day America is a nationwide children's health and safety fair. Our office sponsored this event, which was free to families. All proceeds and donations went to the Make a Wish Foundation. Over 500 people attended. The event was held at Rocky Mountain Fitness in Eagle. Some of the attractions were, DigiKids child ID cards (sponsored by Dr. Gunnell), spinal and scoliosis screenings by Dr. Gunnell, dental screenings by Dr. Larson, vision screenings by Eagle Vision, fingerprinting by the Eagle Police Department, free Dominos pizza, prizes donated by Mary Santi Insurance and Home Federal Bank, free balloon animals by Chedee Annie, and visits by Sparky the fire dog, the Eagle city council, and an ambulance!
